Its a bit of fun and a giggle. The kids enjoy dressing up and being given sweets. Laughter is good for you ya know

let's see, I had fun listening to people walk by commenting on my decorations that they enjoyed, and I really enjoyed the kids coming up on the porch and just being in awe of the little witch w/her foggy pot, and all the spiderwebs and spiders - really none of them were scared - and then to give them a little bag with some treats (not all candy) - it was so much fun, and I have lots of great memories of my own trick-or-treating, and taking my kids and also my grandson, kind of a fun family outing, and saying hi to neighbors, and getting to know new neighbors just a little. so, present it's fun, and the future memories. I also made all of my own costumes and my kids and my grandsons - until this year only because he & mom now live 1800 miles away. Halloween wasn't quite the same, but still fun.

It is fun and it only comes once a year.
