The mark of insanity is thinking the rest of the world is crazy and you're the only sane one. If you question your sanity, its a safe bet that you're sane.

When things that usually didn't sense before make sense now. And when you start talking to things and they talk back and have a conversation with you. Also when you see things and they tell you to kill people. But if you were insane you wouldn't really care anyway if you're losing your mind because you'd already be doing these and not realizing it so I guess you haven't lost your mind yet but if you think you are than maybe you should go seek professional help while you're semi still sane.

You need to worry when you start seeing cute little pink pigs that are talented beyond your / their wildest dreams, wearing polka dot skirts with built in Gibson Les Pauls protruding from their chests, and ripping lead solos Jimmy Page can't figure out. Then if you see Art Linkletter bouncing a tennis ball on his nose while dancing with Ritchie Valens, then it's safe to think everything's alright. Unless those tennis balls are orange...then that can mean only one thing...that the evil Jimmy Connors has noticed that you were looking at him while he was taking a sh*t. He's gonna yell at you for awhile, and you might feel just a tad guilty. You'll scream back at him, and before you know it the two of you will be drinking a beer together in some nice little bar in Queens.
Then when you leave the bar, you might come across a fellow named Sam, who was also known as, "Sam with the showing scalp flat top, particular about the point it made".
Why, when I was knee-high to a grasshopper, there was
this black juice that came out on a hard shelled chin.
And I called that 'tobacco juice'.
I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx.
My TAR ROOM absorbed every echo..
The music was.. thud like. The music was.. thud like.
I usually played such things as 'Rough-neck and Thug'.
Opaque melodies that would bug most people.
Music from the other side of the fence.
A black swan figurine lay on all color lily pads, on a little conglomeration table of pressed black felt.
With same color shadows, and seamed(?) knobbed knees, and what-nots.
The long hallway rolled out into oddball odd.
Beside the fly-pecked black doorway,
that looked closed on the tar-lattice street.
Up a wrought iron fire escape, rolled out a tiny wooden platform with dark, hard, dark rubber wheels.
Roll, skreek! Roll, skreek! Roll, skreek!
Sam with the showing scalp flat top,
particular about the point it made.

Don't worry...you're just fine!

I've wondered the same thing. I think when one is loosing one's mind, they are not aware of it. It's probably best that way.

I think I lost mine a while ago. I find comfort and acceptance on Y!A tho :)

Don't worry, hang in there, and I'll tell you if I find it. Or you could call the local animal shelter.

Usually it likes to hide under the pillow or in a dark corner.

Edit: Chunga... what... the... frick?

You don't. One minute its there, the next minute its gone. Once its gone you have no mind to reflect on the fact that you lost it.

If you can't touch a doorknob without a cloth on it, you are insane.

"If you've ever stopped to wonder if you've got insane mental problems, it's already too late for you."

~From a funny profile comment I saw and I think it's actually true.
