You know, the command to make a screen shot. I don't want a shot of the whole screen, just a part of it.
Thanks in advance.

There are *hundreds* of programs to make a screen shot.

I use Corel Capture, version 5.0, which is a 1995 version. I activate it with F10, but you can configure it to activate with a large variety of keys. You can choose between capturing the current window, the active client, the full screen, a rectangular area, an elliptical area, or a free-hand area. You can send the image to a file, to the clipboard, or send it directly to a printer. You can make hundreds of different captures to files; it will name the files as you specify, automatically incrementing the number part of the file name.

And I suspect that there are other programs that have far more options, but these are far more than I ever use, so I haven't bothered looking for a replacement for this 12-year-old program.

Tell me, how do you right-click on an image in the browser, to save that image to disk, when your mouse has only one button?

in Windows to take a full screen snapshot use the button named: Prt Scrn SYS (Print Screen)
if you want just the current window of a program use:
Alt+Prt Scrn
