guiliani has a new anti-universal health care ad where he claims that the prostate cancer survival rate in england is poor (44% vs 80% for americans) because socialized medicine is terrible and doesnt work. turns out that his numbers are completely wrong and instead of getting his info from doctors/medical journals/ect he got them from a right wing political magazine. (numbers for britain are 75%) rudy refused to pull the ad so he is knowingly lying to the public about a major issue and it isnt the first time he has been flat out caught telling idiotic lies. please tell me why some of you republicans are still backing this man who supports his stance with lies and has been so stupid as to have been caught telling obvious whoppers! geez a liar is bad but a stupid liar is kind of insulting isnt it?

to help out people like "plowmaster" i will again ask for reasons why republicans can justify voting for guliani after he has lied on an ad and then kept the ad running after it has been shown to him that the ad is false. I AM NOT LOOKING FOR YOUR OWN PERSONAL THOUGHTS OR ARGUMENTS FOR OR AGAINST UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE!

Screw the numbers, the premise is wrong. Access to health care which leads to prostate cancer screening and early detection and treatment leads to a high survival rate. Universal health care provides these services. There are millions of men without coverage and some of them that do have it still aren't covered for certain screenings. So, the notion that more coverage=a lower survival rate of prostate cancer is ludicrous

if you want government run health care just look at the VA. Universal care is rationed care. All countries that have that model do that and your life is on the line. When will that test showing cancer be done. Now as we have it or in 4 months like in Canada and oh by then the cancer spread and it's too late now. Canada's own Parliament members have dashed across the border for US health care since they would die waiting in Canada. Second, the Canadians use the US hospitals for overflow because there's no money for new hospitals. Wow and this Capitalist system doesn't work?

I find it utterly hilarious that some Americans still like this guy. These people are great. Real people should own them for entertainment while occasionally giving them someone wearing a turban to bark at.

Sadly the truth is that the ad will not be pulled because this disparity will not be widely reported due to generous kickbacks of Federal Matching Funds (i.e. your tax dollars) which is perfectly legal. Only way the **** starts to stink is if some brave soul fans it to the public. In America, that'll probably be Stephen Colbert (unless he's too busy campaigning, in which case Jon Stewart).

Stupid, yes. Idiotic, yes. Liar, yes.

Politicians like Giuliani does not correct their mistakes because it will be disastrous to their campaign.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if Giuliani will likely win.
