How do u save cap room on NBA Live 07?

You cannot save cap room for the current season.

You trade your players who are overpaid for draft picks. I think that's the only way how.

If your playing Live 07, you won't probably gonna use all 15 players with some regular minutes throughout the season, I suggest you waive useless players so some players could get playing time. And when their contract expires, you have now more money to spend on good free agents.
