I have never been to Europe and I am looking for a place that I fun, and accessible to other areas on Europe. My school offers programs in London, Budapest, Dublin, Paris, Stockholm, etc. I have narrowed it down to London and Budapest from research, so can someone with first hand expierence in one or the other help me out? Also, all the programs are taught in English, so language in the schools is not an issue.

I think the answer should be based on your language skills.
If the classes are given in the local language, London is the only sensible answer, as you can not learn Hungarian in a short time.
If the classes are given in English, you might still want to consider the difficulties of living in a country where you do not speak the local language.

If you think the language will not be a problem, (you might speak Hungarian already) go for the program that offers best quality.

Unless you have to decide on price only, in that case London might be the worst one out of the lot, as it is an expensive town to live, among the most expensive of the world.

Travel is easy in all of Europe, and with the cheap airlines there are many cheap connections nowadays, so any location will have good access to the rest of Europe, but London is on the other side of a sea from most of the continent, so you will always have to travel by air or sea (or train in a tunnel) to go anywhere. Dublin and Stockholm also have this problem.

I would choose London, but only because I'm hungarian, and I were in Budapest plenty of times, and zero times in London. :)
So, I have first hand experience about Budapest, but I live here, that's my country, I love it, so I may be prejudiced. Never been to US or England, makes comparison impossible.
Education is nice here. I think Budapest is more affordable than London, especially if you are a forigner. (As a hungarian: the hungarian wages are low, compared to prices. Many of my graduated friends go abroad to work, because there they get payed better even if they do au-pairing and other stuff than they would get here as a doctor, teacher anything. That's a bit sad. But they work abroad for a couple of years, save money, and when they come home they are fine because they can start livng normally from the savings.)

I've been to both. Depends on what you're studying and looking for. London for the language and city, but Budapest for the European experience. It's closer to surrounding countries and cities (Vienna, Prague are gorgeous) and you'd get a better feel for what Europe used to be like. If you're studying business, London's the way to go; if you're studying culture, Budapest will give you more variances.

dublin is not a problem at school but you also going to have to communice with people in the street if you wanna explore and get around.
I would suggest Dublin , people over there are very cool and super friendly, it might take a little bit of time to get used to the accent.
IF you travel around Europe use Eurail or Euroline
