--"Even a stubborn fool is thought to be wise if he keeps silent. He is considered intelligent if he keeps his lips sealed."

What does this mean to you?

Has anyone heard the famous quote by Ben Franklin, "It is better for you to keep silent and have people think you're stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."?

Any parallels?

Explain.

they run quite similar.... if a stupid person keeps silent, there is nothing to confirm his stupidity instead he gets the benefit of learning from other people by listening.

on the other hand, a fool who keeps yakking will evidently prove to the world at large how stupid he is.

Most trouble does arise per the spoken word. "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment." Jesus the Christ.

"None preaches better than the ant, and she says nothing." Benjamin Franklin.

Ultimately, one's words are cups of Energy, and they in-form one's consciousness. When writing or speaking, words are often autobiographic. E.g., "Explain" is a command, following a series of framed interrogations, revolving around misuse of word as wordiness revealing inner states of foolishness and/or stupidity.

Living in one's head more than divinely loving with one's heart is an interesting conundrum, as suchlike is more rigid. "The Biology of Transcendence," Joseph Chilton Pearce, , "The Field," Lynne McTaggart, "Mindset," Carol Dweck, Ph.D., "Expecting Adam," Martha Beck, Ph.D., and "Man, Master of His Destiny," O. M. Aivanhov, also talk of this.

if speaking was made from silver , then silence is made from gold .

some times we wish we hadnt said some thing , because we did hurt some one , or looked stupid for saying it . its better to THINK before you speak !
