I don't like to give u very theoretical answers but very practically
YOU are the source of peace.

You may think that oh !! what this man is bluffing. Just read the lines written below. Always our mind is wandering from the past to future or future to past like the pendulum of a clock. When you are at the work place your mind thinks about yesterday when your boss scolded u . But your boss would have done so many good deeds to you but your mind would cling on to the past when he had hurt u and not the good deeds. by thinking
such things you loose your peace of mind.

Similarly you would think what would happen to me tomorrow
and again get into fear and loose you peace of mind.

Is all these necessary? You are the cause for all these distortions. If you live with yourself NOW then all these distortions would be washed away.

Now do u understand that YOU are the source of peace?

Good question!

What is the source of peace? After several minutes of pondering to give you a good answer. I come to think that the source of peace is mankind comintg to an agreement of whatever form so long as harmony is fully attained. With disagreements among men, there will always be conflict, disparity and divergence. We must all come to an agreement that there must be a cessation of war. That is only the time that peace is possible.

Heart is naturally the source of peace. You are not creating anything there. You are simply coming to a source which is always there.

In contrast, mind is a source of disturbance. Mind cannot be in peace. It is a chattering box.

When you are centered in the heart, the mind stops, and there is peace. When you are centered in the mind, you don't listen to the heart, you listen to only reason, and when you reason, you can never be in peace. A mind cannot trust, it can only believe. A heart necessarily trusts. Where there is trust, there is peace. Where there is belief, there is doubt. In trust, there is no question of doubt, it is pure trust. In belief, there is an element of doubt left.

Mind doubts, heart trusts. One who doubts cannot be in peace. One who trusts can be in peace.

Peace cannot prevail in the mind, which is an individual element. Peace is of the heart, the universal source of love and energy.

The source of peace is Chaos.

As inside an atom electrons are in a constant state of motion, yet the atom is stable and noble, So inside ourselves too there is always a chaos of thoughts, when we learn to live with and above this chaos and balance it, is when we attain peace. Once individuals learn to live with the chaos with and come to terms with it, is when external peace be attained too.

Source of peace is abandonment of the world and attachment to GOD with an aim to liberate your soul from this bodily exile. No other source can give you peace. Any attachment with the material world can only give you anxiety and misery.
