Depends on what I'm eating. It's a little sloppy with soup. But many cultures use tortillas or pita to scoop up food. Europeans have not had forks for that many centuries.

It depends on what you're eating. I suppose it's more common to eat sandwiches with your hands and soup with a spoon? Here in Indonesia, it's a tradition to eat rice, chicken and dry meals with hands. My grandmother still does that. I never get tired of watching her eat :)

I'm pretty sure even cave men used there hands until they developed tools. God gave us thumbs for a reason, so we could pick up a fork.
