stopped to smell the roses and appreciate whatever is around you? Or have you taken everything in your life for granted?

Sometimes, life just passes us by... and we don't realize what we are missing until it is too late. When was the last time you stopped and smelled the roses?

Good question Farah....

I think that to forget smelling the roses is something proper for big countries and big cities.
Pple is so much in a hurry as to stop enjoying simple and small things, as a coffee with a friend watching a sunset.
Money rules everything nowadays, and almost everyone is trying to get more of it. Sometimes is not for having the most necessary things, but only bcoz covetouness.
We have to stop running and try to see around us.
There are lot of beautiful things that money cant buy and that are there for us to enjoy them.
I had the luck to grow up in a small and calm country where you can "smell the roses". ...and where I'm still living at.
Salam

I stop to watch flowers and plants in general. I ask about their names if I like them. Even a date palm catches my eye and I watch it till its upper part. I am allergic to some smells, so I hardly smell flowers.
I do not take things for granted, never. I watch the sky, the clouds, the moon, the Nile, the sea, animals, babies and all natural beauties and say Sub7an Allah.

Very true Farah sad,but very true.
I have an English friend here in Luxor who said something very similar to me.
"We hurry here and run to there and never take the time to just sit and stare".
