I really like Yahoo because it's very convenient, the Yahoo! Mail, where everything happens in one page, and Answers, where you can get the best of answers to your questions, which help you alot and saves time. Not like Hotmail, which is very darn slow.... OK back to the topic... So, i guess American will prefer AOL, because it's American, just like they prefer T Mobile that Nokia, right? So once again this is to my opinion, and Yahoo is the best for me....

It's funny you ask such a question on "yahoo! Answers" LOL but I digress. I like yahoo for the most part, but I hate that they took away the user created chatrooms. I loved that AOL had rooms to talk to and meet local people. Do you know how hard it is to find a gay man in Chicago? on AOL they have those gay Chicago rooms, they used to have them on Yahoo! until the pedophiles ruined it by creating rooms looking for children to prey on. Jeez, track these people so that way it'll never happen again, that way it's not ruined for those of us who aren't monsters.

I pick Yahoo! AOL was the worst Internet provider ever! They wouldn't let me cancel my account for 3 months and I didn't even have a contract. They just kept changing the subject and offering me new deals every time I tried to cancel my account.

i can not stand AOL. contained in the undesirable previous days their browser aspect changed into integrated into the bundled application in my computing gadget and that i'd spend days eliminating it from each and every distant nook of my hardrive. back then it would merely reflect itself everywhere and run contained in the heritage and devour up digital memory and RAM like loopy. God I hated AOL. at the same time as they ultimately stopped bundling it up, i changed into so relieved. Yahoo is an information superhighway web site, AOL is so integrated that's a discomfort contained in the butt. So YAHOO wins.

I had to switch to AOL because my E-mail was sooooo slow here. But I really enjoy yahoo answers, though.

aol is better for instant messenger because it's easier.
yahoo is better for everything else, like fantasy football
