I want to see the tree outside my window. I know this sounds really cheesy, but in the fall and winter moths, the leaves and branches frost up and its gorgeous outside once it gets light. And the sunset behind it =] absolutely lovely.
My second answer is probably a full pot of coffee, and 5 feet of snow to block my front door so I don't have to go anywhere.

My husband, sneaking out of bed so he won't wake me ... I sometimes 'surprise him' by sitting up and waiting until he brings my coffee into the bedroom. Yes, he gets up and makes the coffee EVERY morning ... and he also does 99% of the cooking in our house (he was a chef, I raised four kids and got 'burned out' on cooking) ... and he also washes my back while I take a bath. Wouldn't YOU want to wake up to a person like that, too?

The last thing I wanted to see on the news was this :
KXLY reports that GOP Rep. Curtis was not just into picking up young men for sex, he was also into wearing lady's clothing. My God! What is wrong with these Republicans? This guy voted no on employment equality for gay men and women while he was wearing frilly undies! (He insists he's not gay. Maybe the Republicans have their own words for things that are different from normal people's vocabularies. The KXLY Report is completely graphic (anal sex, etc).

for now, my two-year-old nephew who is currently sleeping next to me in my bed.... there's nothing better to wake-up to than his smiling face (despite the fact that it's that smiling face that's laughing about waking me up!)!
soon enough, I'd love to wake up to my husband's face every morning.
