Not weird if the firmness helps your back. If your sleeping partner prefers the bed, you may be missing out on good sex however.

Sleeping on the floor is certainly not weird.

1. It is u who is doin it. If u get the satisfaction out of it, just do it.

2. Its great for your back and other backbone related problems. Its clinically proven that using a hard surface compared to a spongy one to sleep aggravates back problems. If possible try not using a pillow as well.

3. According to certain aspects of Yoga etc. meditation and sleeping on the floor can induce calmness and focus magnetic rays straight through the body. Morever it is recommeded to sleep south(head) to north so that the body is streamlined along the magnetic lines of force of the earth.

No. If you want to sleep on the floor, go ahead. But be careful of cold floor and too hard a surface. Keep a small pillow under the head.

We all know heat rises so in the winter, it might get really cold down there depending on climate, how well your house is insulated and how high you set your thermostat. Also, I hope you would'nt sleep naked on the floor with a huge male dog running around the house!!

I used to sleep on the floor when I was a kid all the time! My mom kept asking me not to but I loved it.

I cannot do it anymore but I heard it's pretty good for your back.

I do the same thing when I want my back to be straight when I sleep. So no, I don't see that as "weird".

it is a bit strange. any reason why you like the floor? perhaps you need to get a larger bed? or one that is harder and supports your back better?
