I let them know, I am alway up front about my feelings, but sometimes they just don't want to hear it, and pretend everything is ok,

Unfortunately people just end up going through the motions. It's easier to stay then it is to decide you want to be happy and leave. That's why, I think, so many marriages end up being just business partners instead of husband and wife.
I find it very sad. Most of my married friends wish they wouldn't of gotten married to the person they are married too and they new it before the got married but were to chicken to call off the wedding.
I pray to God everyday to please let me not do that. I'd rather be single then sorry.
Do I get lonely? Yep, but it's better then feeling all alone and my "husband" is sitting right next to me.
Do I sometimes start to panic because I'm single? Yes to that too. But I'd rather panic alone then wake up in the middle of the night, with my "husband" next to me, panicking about how I got into this mess and how do I get out. So I now no longer sleep well.
So if I get lonely I go get my nephew and our dogs and go play. I find something to do with someone I have everything in common with, and we don't even have to talk we are that comfortable together.
I never ever want to just go through the motions. I want to be so in love that I feel like I'm going to burst. But people get to desperate and don't hold our for true love, they settle. I will never settle. I deserve not to settle.

When I feel that I don't like my bf anymore, I'll let them know and break up with them. Why? Cause sooner or later a relationship without love and the feeling of comforts to each other will not last. So better do it now cause if you just go through the motions, you'll just feel miserable staying in a I-don't-love-him-anymore relationship. Cause sooner or later, the relationship will break up too, believe me. What for lying to yourself. You take him as your bf cause you loved him, but now as you don't love him anymore, you can break up and find another guy. As simple as that.

I let him know everyday that I love him but that he is making me feel oppressed. I've made no secret about it.
But my heart is still in it. I would'nt go through the motions. The kids could tell and it would hurt them more than seperating.

You should let them know, I would want a person to be honest with me about it, it wouldn't be fair to let them go on believing that things are the same when they are not!!

I think you should let them know. It will only make the break up easier in the long run. No one wants to hurt... or feel pain.. Just face it and talk to he or she.. being honest is the best really..

I tried to hold on to something once but I realized I was being selfish to the both of us and let it go. They didn't take it to well at first but later they thanked me. Now im happy I did it.
