Many girls and women experience changes in their bodies or mood --like stress or depression-- before menstrual flow begins. Normally symptoms are related to the hormonal imbalance present during this time.
To deal with the situation, a healthy diet and exercise may help. This includes avoiding junk foods, salty food, caffeine, and artificial sweeteners, especially the week before period begins. Sleeping enough, drinking enough water, and reducing stress by any means can also help.

We all go through that. Its caused by a hormonal change. When your body says: Nope no baby this month, your hormones change to adjust. Its normal. Take a hot bath and relax on the worst days of your period.

I get the same way.. I wish there was something doctors could give us. I get EXTREMELY moody.. I mean I snap on everyone and don't even realize it until later. That is how I know my period is coming! Good luck!

it's a VERY emotional time for girls i guess, with all the mood swings and stuff, i cry a lot right before and right after my period. i've never really figured out why, but i'm guessing it's because our hormones are going craaaazy and so we take everything to heart and are very sensitive at that point.

You'd rather not menstruate and think that you would enjoy life better with an apparatus with a mind of its own going everywhere with you but 10 inches in front of you.

I don't know why, but I do the same thing. My husband can always tell because I will cry easily just before my period.
