I have all. But I can't decide which two or one to stay with.

I'm as bad.

I have 360, Myspace, Facebook, Bebo, Tagworld and Multiply. I think the one that's by far the most riveting is Facebook.

Reasons:

It's more private. You're not likely to have random strangers adding you out of nowhere and sending you loads of spam. Of course it can happen, but mostly friends actually know each other from somewhere.

The apps. There's no code-tweaking to worry about if you want a cool game on your profile. Just click it and it's there.

The comments feature on 360 is far outdone by the poke feature on Facebook.

I was once a Myspace faithful, until a couple of weeks ago when I dived into Facebook for a little look. I thought Myspace was miles better, but now I think Facebook BURIES Myspace.

Want my recommendation? Keep Facebook and 360.

((((Rae))))

May peace go with you throughout your life

I also want a good discussion of comparrisons, but I don't think it is happening so far.

The question, to me is "What is there about these formats that makes you prefer them".

I am hit frequently with Yahoo 360 friends saying "join me at Multiply" but the reasons are so shallow, I figure why bother?

Why is Multiply so hot? I tend to think, for your own sanity, you should not have useless duplication.

Is Yahoo 360 in danger of closing? Why else would a change make sense?

Is this a responce to a perceived flaw in Yahoo 360? What flaw? What do the others offer that is an "upgrade", if anything.

I think Yahoo is changing, so patience might be rewarded.

I had a myspace page, and it's just too complicated to work with easily, especially if you're in a hurry. There are just TOO many "special codes" to load pics, music, files, etc. I like 360 however it's going to shut down soon in favor of Mash. I'm not sure if Mash is going to be all that much of an improvement over 360. I currently use Multiply as it can ALL be downloaded directly from MY hard drive without haqving to store stuff elsewhere. NO codes to screw up typ9ng or copying and pasting, Just drag and drop and it's where you want it.

Myspace had security concerns and too much bad stuff occuring as a result of that. I heard that facebook seems to have some of the SAME issues. With Multiply I have yet to have a single person add me that wasn't already pre-approved by me, beforehand. If that turns out to have security issues, I'll drop them like a hot potato.

One needs to be very careful when having a blog/personal web page as there ARE folks who stalk them looking for easy marks to hit on and take advantage of. MY MAIN interest in all of this is making sure that things are 100% secure (or at least as secure as can be expected against typical harrassers. Not much can be done to prevent a dedicated and skilled hacker from accessing stuff but, I don't tug on their chains so they aren't likely to try to hack me, nor do I store personal financial info on an on-line computer. So, theft is not an issue either.

I suppose it all depends on WHAT exactly it is that you wish for features that determines what is best for YOU.

Personally, 360 is home until they tear it down, Multiply is my second choice... I don't care much for facebook and outright dislike Mash.

I have 360, Multiply and My Space and as a beginner I have no idea which is the better, and don't really know all that much about them.

Why choose?
I heard that facebook is the new myspace, soooo...
Iunno, it just seems like everyone's switching to facebook now!
So I'll suggest keeping facebook!

360, and I refuse to even look at any of the others (until I have no choice but to)
