There is no doubt its a refreshing change...A variety of sources is paramount to getting a clear picture of actual events. Unfortunately, many have been led to believe its a "terrorist" propaganda machine...and I guess all you can say to them is check out there website....you might learn something.

My Personal favorite is CNN World. Unfortunately I only get to watch it when i travel internationally in hotels.

I actually like watching Al Jazeera / English. It's a better and less sensationalistic experience than watching Fox or CNN... I used to think that AJ would only focus on the extremist views, but I was wrong. Then when my friends (Die Hard Fox Fanatics) started seeing the AJE broadcast, they thought is was better as well.

Variety is the spice of life...-so if you look at it in THAT context, yes. -ALJAZ has it's virtues...
