totally against it. P.C. is anti 1st amendment. You cant say what you want. P.C. is just another way to stiffle anyone who doesnt agree with the left.

I am so sick of political correctness! Can we set all social amenities back into the stone ages with polictical correctness??? The latest one... Duane The Dog Chapman, The Bounty Hunter, on A&E for saying the "N" word in a private conversation on the phone with his son. His show has now been put on hold, indefintely, for saying that. Don Imus, (I don't care for the guy, personally), lost his show because of his comments about black athletes. So I ask you, why is such big deal made about people and their admittedly poor judgment statements and not enough of a big deal made about child abuse, the fact that there is hungry children in OUR nation, the deplorable health care and welfare system??? But nope, that is not "glamorous" enough news. The stars make the news and make money for a lot of people. I think the person that said "there's no such thing as bad press" was probably right. We've swung so far over in political correctness that we are going to drown in it. I just can't understand why there are so many people that jump on this band-wagon and no one says that there are more important issues that need to be addressed first.

there's a place for it but when it starts to actually discriminate one group in favour of another then it has gone too far.
when it becomes ridicules like wanting to change the name of man hole, into person hole because man hole is/sounds sexist.
or when a shopping centre is instructed by the local council not to play Christmas carols, put up decorations, or put up merry Christmas signs, because it might/will offend some non Christians, excuse me but when i last looked most people enjoy this time of year without having to be a christian. I'm not and i still love Christmas.
or the hospital that didn't let the rest of it's staff openly eat their lunches because of one nurse who was a Muslim, because it was Ramadan, and she was offended at the sight of other people eating at that time, no offence but if being in the tea room during Ramadan and seeing other people eating offends you then there are other places for you to go, its not fair for one person to dictate every one Elses normal behaviour. in hospitals there are quiet rooms set aside, this one person could go there, why should all the other staff have to hide or go without just for one person, sometimes people have to say enough is enough. this is a clear example of where one person, abused the system in order to impose their beliefs onto others and that is wrong.

There was a time in America where you could openly tell some corkslurper what you thought of them without fear of reprisals. What's the point of being in the majority when it means having to tread softly around issues? I say that it is far easier to wear slippers than to insist that others carpet the whole world for you.
In other words... if you don't like it, welcome to America, jerk0ff.
Here's your Gub'ment cheese.

I'm against it. PC is anti-freedom of expression and anti-individualism.
It so reminds me of the book 1984 by George Orwell. It's newspeak.

against it...............
i like to say mail carrier and flight attendant, but asian and hispanic are stupid. i am mexican and japanese.....choke on it.
hispanic happened because a south american got called mexican and was so offended. (because of course it's shameful to be mexican) so now we have to say hispanic so we don't accidentally call a salvadoran a mexican. same with asian......all those koreans and sri lankans look the same, but if you call one chinese!! them's fightin words. just ball them all up into asian and no one can possibly be offended. well, i am.
i have my own question..since india is in asia, and they are indeed asians......why don't we have to call them asians? i know the difference between eastern and middle eastern. but the orient is the orient.............an oriental is eastern. occident is western. and no oriental doesn't refer to inanimate objects, oriental means asian.......i hate p.c-ness.
