My dad brought home some old albums (1958-1964-ish) and the pages were all trying to stick to the old pics so he put them in a new album. My mamaw let me have the album. I was going to remove the cover, cut out the Photo Album square and put it in my "Family History Album". Here is what the old album looks like:

I carefully took the fabric cover off. The inside of the album looks like this:

and I folded up the carboard liner to take if the fabric and got this:

on both sides were stacks of these old newspaper looking papers all in Japanese:

The stack was a little over 1/2 an inch thick. Are these Japanese newspapers? I found a date on one -1962.

Are they worth anything? We could use the money.

They are newspapers. They wouldn't be worth anything but if you decoupage a book cover with them, that would make an excellent cover for your scrapbook. Or you could make a whole desk set, and that might be worth $10.00 on Ebay if you do a really good job and make it look professional.

Nope they're not worth anything. It was just made in Japan. That's how they make things cheaply.
