Recently Barry Bonds said if his record breaking ball was displayed in the hall of fame he wouldn't want to join the hall of fame( because of the asterisk). Maybe it's just me but if he really had nothing to hide he would just let them display it and stop complaining.

That Question can be argued either way- and come out with the SAME answer! Bond's gripe is with the hypocracy of the "business" of Baseball- NOT with the Sport. And unfortunately- I don't blame him for feeling "jaded" by the whole thing. NO Sport nowadays is really played on a "level playing field"- there's WAY too much Money, influence & substance taking going around- to make ANY game really "Fair". So Bond's handles this by showing up for "Work", taking his "cuts", collecting his pay- & then wiping the "dust" of the "game" off his feet- & going home. So can you REALLY blame him- for for doing what most of the rest of us do- every day? It's just a "game..."- afterall...

If they put an asterisk in the books then fine display it with an asterisk. It should go in as it is in the books.
The hall should be an accurate example of whats in the books.
There is no asterisk in the books so that's how the ball should go in.
