Do you smoke?
No, I don`t and I don`t plan to later on in life.
Do you think it is a bad habit?
Yes, it definitely is. It harms practically every part of your body and hazard to your health. You`re life is in danger.
Who does it harm?
It harms your friends, family, people around you, and most importantly, yourself.
Would you recommend smoking to others?
I would never even think of it!
Do you think that not allowing smoking in restaurants was a good idea?
Yes. People who don`t smoke have a right to breathe clean, non-polluted air.
Would would your reaction be if the place you worked at said you had to quit smoking in order to continue working there?
I don`t smoke at all so I would be very happy that my employees wouldn`t be able to either. It will help them break the habit and it is better for them.

Yes I got started real good when I joined the Air Force, it was to be hip and cool.
Yes it is a very bad habit, once a person gets started it is hard to quit.
It harms me and people that are around me even though they may smoke. I one does not I try not too.
No! I do not recommend smoking to anyone. I tell the ones that ask about it the truth. I have been in and out of the hospital because of lung problems. I am trying to quit now so I don't do more damage to my body. The Dr. has me on some pills but I don't know if that will work.
Yes it is a good idea, I go there to eat and smoke after so it did not bother me. There are some places that have areas that smokers can sit.
I am a DAV so I don't think of it. I have worked jobs that you can not smoke on except on a 5 min. smoke break. I was dieing to get off so I could light up and wonder where all my money went.
To any one that is thinking about smoking DO NOT start. Like I said I have been in the hospital too many times to count. I also think about all that money that I have wasted over the past 40 yrs.
I hope this helps you on whatever you are working on or if you think about smoking please do not.
Thanks for great questions.

1. Noooo!!!
2. It's a very bad habit; not only for the smoker, but for those who are around.
3. It harms all who are within 20 feet of the smoker...smoke from another car on the highway can reach the person 2 lanes over!
4. It's my recommendation that noone ever smoke! It would suit me just fine if they were removed from public market.
5. I think that it's one of the best ideas that the government's had in more recent years-now if they can only establish a perimeter in which people aren't allowed to smoke outside a building (i.e. smoking with one's back propped up against the open entry)
6. I applaud it. My workplace is smoke free and has been for a little over a year and my coworkers and patients have been very satisfied with the results. Smoking cessation tools have been offered and well accepted by those who work here and hundreds have now quit because of it.

1. Yes, I smoke. I have smoked for forty-one years. Started when I was 14-years old.
2. Yes, absolutely. I is a very disgusting habit.
3. It causes great personal harm as well as harms everyone around you. It not only effects friendships, love, personal health and well-being, but it dramatically effects the "financial-self" over the course of many years.
4. I have actively discouraged smoking among those who do not presently smoke, using myself as an example. I cannot try to talk others to quit, because I myself have not quit.
5. I think banning smoking in all public places is a good idea. Naturally, what is done in the privacy of one's home cannot be controlled, but outside...YES!
6. I don't know. I have been smoking for many years, I cannot envision myself without a cigarette. In all honesty, I would probably look for other work. I would not be angry or condemn my employer, because it is his right, I believe, to run his business the way he sees fit.
Cigarette smoke has been proven to cause disease and death. It is bad...it is becoming more and more socially unacceptable. I wish I could quit. I look at these things and find myself wondering how in the hell I could have allowed these little inanimate things get such control of me; the money wasted...the friendships lost...the knawing fear of some unyet discovered fatal illness.
Someday...perhaps...I will finally find the wherewithall to finally put them down and declare that "I am free."
If you don't smoke, don't start. Please.....

Do you smoke? No
Do you think it is a bad habit? Not just bad, but nasty and unhealthy.
Who does it harm? Definitely. It contributes to lung cancer and heart disease. It causes wrinkles. It coarsens your voice.
Would you recommend smoking to others? Never. That would be a totally stupid thing to do.
Do you think that not allowing smoking in restaurants was a good idea? Yes, I go out a lot more often not that I can eat without choking on 2nd hand smoke, and don't have to go home and shower and was my hair to get the smoke stink out. Maybe smokers go less often, but there are now more of us non-smokers than smokers, and we will go more often.
What would your reaction be if the place you worked at said you had to quit smoking in order to continue working there? I already don't smoke so why should I care? Actually, maybe without them, my insurance premiums would go down.
Other thoughts/ opinions/ ideas/comments: I hate smoking. It is a nasty disgusting habit. I will not date a man who smokes. Smokers literally stink. You can smell them when they walk past.

1. No.
2. Yes.
3. The individual smoker and society as a whole.
4. Not if you paid me to.
5. Great idea.
6. If I were a smoker, I would quit...especially if I needed to do so to keep my job.
7. If I had the power, I would destroy every tobacco plant in existence, forever. I feel bad for smokers because I realize it is a difficult addiction to break so I don't hate them. Instead, I concentrate my hatred on tobacco itself.
Smoking is a personal and HUGE pet peeve of mine, perhaps the biggest one I have. Ok, there probably are things I hate more, but not many. I think it's a filthy, expensive, unhealthy habit and if I was a smoker and couldn't bring myself to quit, I would probably want to commit suicide...that is how much I hate it. Any other questions?

Quit this year. Still get the urge now & then.
Yes, it's a bad habit.
Me. It would harm others if I smoked inside and they sat in the same room for long periods of time.
I wouldn't recommend it, but I don't talk down on people who do it because I understand.
Sure, because it's an enclosed area and other people don't need all that smoke in their face.
I would tell them that since they're currently not providing me with insurance then they have no reason to care about my smoking or not smoking. I would consider that similar to being fired for my race, sex, or religion.

No, I no longer smoke. I quit 21 years ago.
I think it is a horribly bad habit.
It harms not only the smoker, but everyone around the smoker.
I would absolutely NEVER recommend smoking to others!
I think not allowing smoking in restaurants was a terrific idea!
That is what helped me quit. The place I worked at banned smoking inside the building.
Smoking kills. Period. It takes at least 10 to 20 years off your life. It is insidious. It is so addictive that it is the single most hardest thing I ever had to do in my life, to quit smoking.
