For all those who have said 10%, you are completely wrong, read a book and don't listen to your parents folk lore.
Humans use the equivalent to 100% of our brains, while there may be some parts which do not demonstrate extensive neural activity, every part of the brain is useful to us in some way.

For example, the frontal lobe of our brain is used EXTENSIVELY is though processing, advanced problem solving, and other similar things. Where the talk that we only use 10% of our brain may come into play is that areas such as the hippocampus and other internal areas, there is minimal or no neural activity most of the time, because these structures also work using chemical signals.

In short, you use all of your brain, regardless of what anyone will tell you. Ask a university psychology professor, they'll tell you, as they told me. Its 100%

Brain researchers using PET scans now recognize that we actually use most of our brains. The myth that we only use 10% of our brains is true only for students in public schools.

All of it.

The brain is a very important organ that sucks up all sorts of blood, fat, and nutrients. Having a brain that doesn't use all of itself but still takes away all of those important resources would be idiotic.

We may not use all of it at once, but that's just because the brain is so specialized that parts of it aren't used to do everything.

All of it. There is body regulation and there is a lot of sorting going on behind the scenes to pick out what from our sensory input deserves attention and action. It isn't just our conscious memory and perceptions..

All of it. Why would we evolve such an expensive organ ( in energy ) and not use all of it?
