Here's an illustration that shows the difference:

The one with the foreskin (how boys are born) is not circumcised (it's uncircumcised).

Otherwise, when hard (erect) they can look very much alike, since the foreskin slides down (and slides up and down during sex and masturbation to stimulate the head).

The USA is the last developed nation (Europe and Japan don't do it... nor does Latin America or China, for that matter) doing it to newborns without medical/religious reasons and even our rates have fallen from as high as 90% in the 60s to as low as 14% nowadays in some states.

Studies have found that it reduces sensitivity (this article also mentions how it has lost popularity in the USA in recent times):

Makes masturbation more difficult:

Which makes sense, that's how it was made popular in the USA:

Increases erectile dysfunction rates:

Overall, feel free to research here, using medical studies, information, and statistics.

Removing the foreskin is now mainly done for religious reasons by Jews and Muslims. It used to be done for medical reasons, as the thinking in the past was that circumcised penis' were cleaner than ones that were not. In recent years the medical profession has come to realize that an uncircumcised penis that it washed regularly in just as clean as one that is circumcised and will not carry any increased risk of harboring bacteria or infections, It is really hygiene that counts. It is estimated that between 30 and 40% of men worldwide are circumcised and the rate is falling every year, especially in advanced countries.

No, every male should not be circumcised. Circumcision is the removal of the foreskin, which includes the frenulum, ridged band, and thousands of nerves. It leaves the head of the penis to dry out and become keratinized, i.e. less sensitive.

The majority of men in the world are not circumcised. Only the US, where rates are getting closer to 50/50, Africa, Israel and Muslim nations practice it. Oh, and the Phillipines also, after the US introduced it there.

Uncircumsized the complete package - the full works - the way you were born. Minus the foreskin and you're circumsized.
As a matter of fact, worldwide circumsizion is rare. Less than 15% are circumsized. So no, not every male should have it. I believe it is acceptable if there is a medical defect with the foreskin, or the adult is old enough to decide for himself whether he wants to chop part of his penis off.
2½billion of the 3billion men on this planet can't be wrong.

Cicumcision is removal of the fore skin n the penis,it dont have to be done. What hapens to alot of men includeing myself is the forskin becomes very tight and wont slip back over the head of the penis and it is very painful.
I found myself haveing to have a cicumcision at age 40 ands it's not a pleasant experience becuse you have stiches after the proceedure is done. Walking was out of the question for a few days because of the stiches rubbing your shorts.
Hope this answers your question.

No, there is no reason for it and most men in the world aren't done. In fact there are many reasons not to do it. They remove the foreskin from the penis.

It's when you get the foreskin cut off. Not every male, it's mainly a religious thing.
