A Jihad is a Muslim war on something i.e. "American Imperialism" or "Degenerate American Culture" or "Western invasion of Iraq" (just examples).

Terrorism can be carried out by anyone, of any race, religion or sex.

Basque Separationists in Spain are called terrorists.

Philippine Muslims in southern Philippines are considered terrorists by the Catholic government in Manila.

Muslim separationists in southern Thailand are considered terrorists by the Thai government.

Communists in southern Thailand and in Malaysia were considered terrorists by their respective governments. Fortunately that war is over.

Fretlin were considered terrorists by the Indonesian government and now they are the government in East Timor.

The Palmach were considered terrorists in Israel when it was British Palestine. Now some of those people are, or were, part of the Israeli government.

The minutemen of the US war of Independence were terrorists to the British, but they are now considered "heroes" to Americans.
