or almost numb, like when i scratch the area around my scar, it doesnt do much to help.
it has been four months since my surgery

Any surgical incision can itch for some time, even well after the healing is complete. I had an abdominal operation in January of 2006, and the incision scar still itches from time to time. It's nothing to worry about.

Yes indeed, you will experience itching as the muscles and tissue inside your back heal up. It's a good feeling yes?
Means all is well and your healing up.

This is normal for any surgery. You know your back is healing when the incision gets very itchy. Ithcyness equals healing.

it's normal, the nerves are healing.
