why is it every guys i meet that i like a lot turns out to be bi? i don't want to date or anything, i want to focus on school. but still it's a little awkward when they don't tell you and you find out the hard way, and it's weird cause you liked them, and then you're just, crushed. why can't they just tell you from the get go?

ok, i'm 15, and this has happened to me 2 times. i don't care if a person is bi, i mean i don't want to be that guys gf or anything, cause i don't feel comfortable with that. i'm accepting to that, but i just want them to tell me the truth from the start and not have to find out the hard way later, you know!!

I don't think anybody feels like they should throw it all on the table upon meeting someone new. It is strange what you claim is happening to you...but could it be the type of men you're interested in...or are you going to all the wrong places...like looking for guys in a gay bar? I'm not sure other than big coincidences??? D'n'D

There probably embaressed I mean if somone liked me and I was bi, I would be shamed to tell them the truth.
Most people also dont think that others will find out.

wat is wrong with being bi?
im glad guys r more open-minded these days and not so "limited" by society and their laws
i dont understand i mean he's bi HE STILL likes girls
its not like hes gay and u got no chance watsoever
Additonal details
well i always tell the girls i go out with that im bi but they mostly reject me because of it
so in the end ....it hurts our feelings terribly
so that causes some bisexual males to hide their other "side" their "bisexuality" because they r hoping that some girl will fall in love with them ....for their "personalities" and not concretrate to much on their sexual orientation because it shouldn't even matter in the first place

I agree. Since every one these days is letting out their sexuality spontaneously, I don't understand why bisexual people don't do it also. I would say try to look for men that seem to have high standards. Not all will be straight but there's a good chance they will probably tell you or be forward. I'm sorry for your unfortunate luck. :(

I don't understand why bisexuality is an issue unless you found out he was cheating on you with the same sex.

Bisexuality implies both sexes.

And you don't even want to date!

WHY ARE YOU FROWNING?!

Dear Smiley,
They can't tell you for the same reason everyone else hides there true self... Fear of rejection. `Nuff said
