Has to be the amount of playing time. I don't see anyone going there out of pity. It's an EXTREMELY selective school. It's kind of weird to me too. I don't see why they are number one. Charlie Weiss cannot be that good at recruiting.

After the fiasco of this year on the playing field,every recruit feels his better than the current players,therefore will be having a lot of playing time

no...Charlie is a good recruiter and he will get what players he wants...
not a fan, but football does need a good Notre Dame season...just want them to learn a little humility now and then, like when they play my favorite teams hehehe

Could be they envision playing in the NFL after playing for a coach who has been in the NFL...
