Not any more. See the avatar name? I use to be someone I didn't want to be because I wasn't given a choice. Now, I am who I am and no one will ever take that away from me again.

Nope! The only fear I have is of loosing my ability to love everyone in spite of what they do or say to me.You and I both know that I have made mistakes and said things I should not have.Even though I did that and wasnt considering the consequences,I sure hope that person I offended can still find some love in their heart for me.Because they have nothing but love here. When I loose my ability to forgive and love after someone gives me a totally sincere apology, then I am not Adam...
Hugs!

Yes.

My parents raised me with a "dream" daughter in mind.

And up til now, I've been the poster child. My face is plastered all over the office. My picture is in every pocket of my dad's wallet, and my mom literally carries wallet-sized pics of me in her purse to give people.

My test scores are on all surfaces of our house; not just the refrigerator.

I'm the daughter they brag about. The one they tell all their coworkers about.

But behind the scenes, I'm just another disappointment.

I never wanted to be.

But I am.

And that scares the living hell out of me.

no because i know who i am. Plus i don't let others influence who i am as a person. We live, we grow and we change...but we have to stay true to who we are inside. People will tell you many things...but it's up to you to weigh it all. Who you are inside is really what determines....your outcome. Like who you are...and things you don't like ......change it. Then there is no more fear.....

well, i can tell you that i definitely didn't want to be this person. it stops me from doing a lot of things. but, what makes me more fearful is that i will never get to that point where i can accept myself despite all my flaws. is it really worth the fight? i wonder this.

*yay. it's me. no, seriously. has a good answer.

All the time but we must look forward and learn from our mistakes, there is no use in worrying about that because you can't change the past.
