Circumcision is no longer common compared to before.

Here's an illustration that shows the difference:
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/imagepages/19093.htm

The one with the foreskin (how boys are born) is not circumcised (it's uncircumcised).

Otherwise, when hard (erect) they can look very much alike, since the foreskin slides down (and slides up and down during sex and masturbation to stimulate the head).

The USA is the last developed nation (Europe and Japan don't do it... nor does Latin America or China, for that matter) doing circumcision to newborns without medical/religious reasons and even our rates have fallen from as high as 90% in the 60s to as low as 14% nowadays in some states.

Studies have found that circumcision reduces sensitivity (this article also mentions how it has lost popularity in the USA in recent times):
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,285532,00.html

Makes masturbation more difficult:
http://www.blackwell-synergy.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1464-410X.2006.06646.x

Which makes sense, that's how it was made popular in the USA:
http://english.pravda.ru/science/health/27-03-2006/77873-circumcision-0

Increases erectile dysfunction rates:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/entrez?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=14979200&dopt=Abstract%7C

As far as cleaning goes, it takes about 5 to 10 seconds to pull back the foreskin and rub the head, it even feels good (the head is sensitive, after all). But for newborns and young (before puberty) boys, the foreskin may not slide back, because it's designed to be attached to the head so stuff like feces / poo from diapers doesn't touch the head.

Overall, feel free to research here, using medical studies, information, and statistics.

Depends what you're after. Most men in the world are uncircumcised and rates of circumcision seem to be dropping in the USA (last developed nation practising it). Some people like the look because they are used to it or as in the USA there is stigma attached to a natural penis. Other than that there is no truth to the rumours that a natural penis is dirty or spreads disease (besides everyone needs to shower and use condoms so it makes no difference), yet there is evidence that with circumcision comes a definite loss in sensation. Oh and there is some evidence is makes sex worse for the woman too: http://www.sexasnatureintendedit.com

Uncut is the most natural way. The foreskin protects your sensitive tip of the penis and keeps the skin resilient. Only the guys who had no say when they were circumcised as babies still promote this barbarian custom and obviously some stupid doctors who don't want to loose a patient.

We are white ,insurance doesnt cover that so most men in our family are not circumsized.Proper cleaning and teaching your little one how to clean hisself are very important. Now major chunks of the white population have stopped circumcising there sons. Its an added exspense and really not neccessary.Plus what sealed the deal was an article I read about a docter whose knife slipped and he amputated the babies penis! I couldnt put my baby through an unneccessary surgery. Every operation has risks.

uncircumcised looks rather scary actually... but its just cuz here in the US over 75% of males are circumcised and we're used to the guy being cut. I've heard that circumcised can end up being painful (like the head hurts more...?), but not being a circumcised male, i cannot corraborate that statement..

I was circumcised at 18 and much prefer it over being uncut! Sex is better for all involved, it is cleaner, healthier (see paper below) and looks much better! I had no doubt when my boys were born (1&3) that the would be circumcised! As for lower circ rates, that is so subjective! We live in SoCal and all our friends are caucasian and all have circumcised their sons! The rate is low here because of the HUGE Mexican birth rate! 4 of 6! The hospiat they were born in is all white and their doctor told me 85% of the boys that leave are circumcised and another 5% are Jewish and get circ'd outside the hospital setting!

Why circumcision is a biomedical imperative for the 21(st) century.

School of Medical Sciences and Bosch Institute, Building F13, The
University of Sydney, Sydney, New South Wales 2006, Australia.

Circumcision of males represents a surgical "vaccine" against a wide
variety of infections, adverse medical conditions and potentially
fatal diseases over their lifetime, and also protects their sexual
partners. In experienced hands, this common, inexpensive procedure is
very safe, can be pain-free and can be performed at any age. The
benefits vastly outweigh risks. The enormous public health benefits
include protection from urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted
HIV, HPV, syphilis and chancroid, penile and prostate cancer,
phimosis, thrush, and inflammatory dermatoses. In women circumcision
of the male partner provides substantial protection from cervical
cancer and chlamydia. Circumcision has socio-sexual benefits and
reduces sexual problems with age. It has no adverse effect on penile
sensitivity, function, or sensation during sexual arousal. Most women
prefer the circumcised penis for appearance, hygiene and sex. Given
the convincing epidemiological evidence and biological support,
routine circumcision should be highly recommended by all health
professionals.

You may never get the correct answer, because this is a question of opinion. Different people will favor different things.
Some may like them clipped while other non-clipped.

I personally prefer circumcised penises. I personally think they look cleaner and sexier. But I'm sure un-circumcised penises feel the same and that's all that matters! They are both fan-tas-tic-o! Bless Thy Penis! lol

Most men who were not involuntarily clipped as babies love being intact. And most women (90% in one study) who have experience with both say that they get more pleasure from an intact penis.

Many circumcised men, once they get past youth, have sufficiently impaired sensation that they have trouble ejaculating from intercourse in a reasonable length of time and have to masturbate to finish. This makes their partners feel inadequate and causes a lot of emotional pain on both sides.

An intact penis is more fun to play with than a mutilated penis, too!

Pros of circumcised - cleaner
Cons of circumcised - mild loss of sensation

Pros of uncircumcised - tend to be girth-ier and have stronger sensation
Cons of circumcised - can harbor bacteria and yeast if the foreskin is not properly pulled back while washing.

Circumcised! They taste, smell, feel, and look better than uncircumcised. The risk of getting diseases is much lower too, for both the lucky guy and his partner. Circumcision is awesome!
