Me and yoooou, drifting awaaaay, from it all.
(then it talks)>>you know what, we've been together for a long time and you know what.....me and yoooou heaven above.
(That's all I can remember. Its a very very slow song).
ty for your time.

There was a song by Brenton Wood, "Me and You", from the 60's which had the phrase, "We've been together a long time. And you know what" in it. You can listen to a snippet of the song at http://allmusic.com/. Just go to their site and search for Brenton Wood and go to his song list. There are also places to search for lyrics of a song, knowing only a single phrase. One such place is http://www.leoslyrics.com/ and another is http://www.searchlyrics.org/.

I'm only guessing here. There was an old song called Me And You And a Dog Named Boo by a band called Lobo. Or maybe it could be Drift Away by Dobie Gray. Hope you can figure it out. It drives me crazy when i'm looking for something like this and i'm not sure what it is. Good luck.

I thought I knew every song from the 60s, but the only thing that rings a bell is "Slip Slid'in Away". I hope that's it.
