I hate hate hate the one that sings "I'm free to do what I want" I think it's a credit card one.
I can't grab the remote quickly enough to mute it.
Which ones do you mute?

We don't have t.v. anymore, too much to do other than vegg... but when we did we ALWAYS muted them.
I also strive to never buy anything that's advertised on t.v. This means no prepared foods, convenience anything or fast food. No air fresheners that are from publicly traded companies, household cleaners or pet food etc...

Yes. Many do it. Some times, we switch on to the other channel for approximately the time until the advertisements is over. We keep on shifting between the two, and so vexed that any number of times the add will still be continuing. And ultimately when we take little lazy, the add closes and the story begins and in progress when we shift back to this channel, thus tasting our fury again.
In the process the purpose of the advertiser is done.

I wish I had TiVo too! :) I HATE that commercial with that guy who advertises KABOOM! And other very loud stuff! Hate it!!!
I usually half mute, and generally try to get my kid to switch during commercials or mute. The marketing guys are so clever (or is it evil) that they really hook children (and the rest of us) on creating demand for products we don't need...like potato chips!

some commercials are really adorable, but others can be annoying like the caveman ones and the gecko. yuk those got old fast! and all of fords commercials. I love chevy commercials, and whatever happened to Taco Bell!???
I actually loved the caveman guy until the put the crappy show out. its stupid! :( and i think its JUST WRONG that they put STD "I have vd, ..and i dont and we wanna keep it that way" and tampons...upgrade...like my little boy needs to know what a tampon is!!! DUH and all those crap on in daylight on plain tv!!! i mean my kids are watching, thank you!

Yeah I mute them sometimes or I look for something else to watch. Unless it absolutely captures my attention, then I listen to it.

Nope cause my little 2 year old likes some of them and she watches them diligently. They don't bother me but, I do not care that they repeat so often. But, then again I rarely have the TV on.
