the biggest thing this election will determine is wether america takes a huge step twords becomming a socialist republic, or wether it will go more twords freedom and doing what it takes to maintain our independance.
A vote for hillary or obama, is a vote twords turning our country over to the governing philosophy of socialism. where the government is in control of everything and america is taxed to death.
But there is a problem on the other side, there is no candidate in a frontrunner position on the republican side that seems to be what conservitave christians are looking for, at least not yet. If that person is found, and voted for, the issue will be keeping hold of conservative values.
The democrats wanna raise taxes, take away your guns, keep abortion legal, and turn all control of the country and it's sovernity to the UN, make gay marriage legal, and ensure that amreicas economy is destroyed by making it illegal to drive, fly our use the internet or eat meat as they try to prevent a global warming ajenda that is fake and foney. and allow illegal immagration.
The Republicans on the christian right, wanna lower your taxes, close the boarder, outlaw abortion, outlaw gay marriage, stop illegal immigration, win the war, strengthen our millitary, ballance the budget, and protect our 2nd ammendment rights to own guns.
That is what is at stake in this election.

Enforcing the laws to stop illegal immigration. Securing the border. I also think the war will be another big issue. We already know that the democrats used the war to get elected last election. The borders should have been secured on 9/12/01.

((((((((((The war, Health Care and Physically secure our borders and coastlines))))))
Giuliani hasn't used any of his own money for his campaign and yet is a formidable fundraising opponent to Mitt Romney, who has lent his campaign more than $17 million so far this year. The former New York City mayor shouldn't have trouble continuing to bring in enough cash to be competitive, especially as Republican John McCain struggles to catch up. New York was the biggest giver of all metropolitan areas in 2006 and Giulianicontinues to tap into that generosity.
Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.

The security of our nation is probably the top issue because of the rabid islamo-fascists that would rather kill their children and die themselves instead of finding diplomatic solutions (I'm talking about the crazies who like to blow themselves up, not Muslims in general)
The economy will be a big issue and the two parties have diametrically opposed positions. The dems want to raise taxes and the republicans want to keep the tax cuts. Economically, the tax cuts are better for the nation.

The war. It was a huge part of the elections in 2006 and as long as the war is going on with similar results, it will continue to be the most debated issue.

The biggest issue should be whether any of the candidates is believable. The second should be if the winners are responsible for what they promise--and none of them have promised anything. The third issue should be if voters are aware of what they're committing this country to.

I infinitely trust the 1st reaction. optimistically the conflict in Iraq would be a memory or in its much less susceptible tiers. the pro-company factions of the two events replaced. And a President with FDR/JFK theory approaches elected.

health care (if clinton wins she wants to propose a new health care plan and "House Democrats approved a $50 billion increase in spending on the program over the next five years, an amount that would provide new health insurance to millions of children whose families do not qualify for Medicaid but have trouble paying for private coverage." - n.y times (carl hulse)
gender (once again Hillary)

Whatever it is...it won't be an important issue. We don't have a hero leading us, and that is what a leader should be.... not someone with a lot of money backing them. That's what it all comes back to. Money backing you running. So I'm registered and I won't even bother to vote. I did vote in the past and I got all riled up about it. Not anymore, you Americans vote in the person with the most money for ads and the one who scratches your *** the best. You all need a good *** scratching I'm sure. Foget the people who actually did something for this country and yes, actually, died for it in the past. Just get your butt's scratched. A vote for Hillary is even beyond comprehension and I'm through with you all. You have actually got her running for office. Cows know how to rub against a tree and have their butts scratched. I'm out of it. You people go for it. I'm fed up with my fellow citizens. I'm tired of shouting in the wind and getting kicked out of chatrooms. You go for it and don't come whining to me when this country falls. Just don't come whining to me.
