More than I can remember. Last time the little toe banged against the door jamb and took a 90 degree turn. Just said a 4 letter word, walked out the back door and lit a smoke. Wife came and asked what happened, so I told her I broke my toe. She didn't believe and turned the light on. Sure enough, toes were pointing north and little toe pointed east. I wrapped it up and went to bed. Let the doctor reset it the next morning.

Gotta share this story...6 years ago on Thanksgiving, my husband was in boot camp (Army) and I just KNEW he was going to be able to call home to tell us Happy Thanksgiving. Phone rings about 6pm that night and I dash across my living room to grab the phone...on my sprint to the phone my foot hits the side of the couch and i hear a snap and fall on the couch. I grab the phone and say hello, it was my brothers girlfriend..I was pissed, in a whole lot of pain and laughing cuz I knew i had broken my toe..so I spent the rest of the night in the ER getting a cast for my broken toe..and my husband never did call that night....:)~

Never. For me it's Toe 2 (longer than the big one). I usually let go with a TOS-violating expletive beginning with M.
