OK. I'm going to be totally with you. I hated- Hated- HATED Mac & Cheese when I was little! To me, it was NASTY! I did not like the texture and I didn't like the pasta with the FAKE cheese sauce.
I like Mac & Cheese now if it's cooked right. If it's homemade and NOT from a box. And with REAL cheese, NOT powdered.
Actually, the BEST Mac & Cheese I ever had was a few years ago at Fog City Diner in San Francisco. It was BAKED, not in a pot. And itstead of using cheddar cheese, they used Smoked Gouda!- (which made it totally decadent!) And then, to top it off, they used Panko bread crumbs. YUMMY!!!
I also like homemade Mac & Cheese, with a few drops of Tobasco sauce!

I love mac and cheese. There's nothing wrong with it. What's wrong with you! But that's just my opinion.

I only like the homemade stuff (or Stouffers- it tastes homemade) Any of the boxed stuff gags me. (unless made int cheeseburger mac) We lived with my in-laws for a while, andwhen she made mac and cheese, she used to serve just boxed mac and cheese- nothing else with it. Gross! No meat, no veggie...yuck!
I like pickled beets with mac and cheese though. (even the boxed kind)

I think Mac and Cheese is a good meal : it's easy to do, takes non time (so you can do many things at the same time, really useful when you're a university student), cheap (pretty good also on a tight budget) and, best of all, you don't need a lot of dishes to make it (a fork, a bowl, a cauldron, a measuring cup, and that's about it!)
What's not to like?!

mac and cheese out of a box is disgusting, but there is something wrong with either you or your cooking skills if you don't like homemade macaroni and cheese, what's wrong with you? home made maqcaroni and cheese is the best...but that's just my opinion

Um yah! what is so wrong with it thta makes it disgusting. Well some mac and cheese is gross but kraft= the bestest. and some others are pretty good too. like once i had organic white cheddar mac and cheese. it was soooo good. maybe u just havnet tried the right type yet

I love it. Homemade is much better than boxed. Sure it's not the healthiest but it's good comfort food.
