Eh, most foods have SOMEthing bad in them. Seriously, if you knew of ALL the crap that was in foods, there'd be very little left to eat. I bought a bag a frozen french fries today that contain "photophosphates". What even IS that? But I still bought them, because, really, this is what's in our food. We really don't have a choice. Not all of us can afford to buy organic or whatever.
I refuse to buy Heinz products because once they had a promotion that featured celebrity quotes on the ketchup bottles, and one was so offensive I swore never to buy it again. Hunts tastes just the same...I mean, it's ketchup.

You would be hard pressed to find any wheat-inclusive product in the entire United States that does not contain genetically altered material. Just about every loaf of bread, every snack cake, or anything baked in this country contains genetically modified materials. There is no law in the U.S. that tells companies to put a warning label on the outside of the product, unlike Japan where anything that has been genetically modified has to have such a sticker where everyone can see it. No one really knows the long-term health effects of eating genetically modified foodstuffs.

Heinz makes organic ketchup now, too. I've eaten Heinz stuff all my life and I haven't grown any extra limbs or anything so far, so I'd imagine it's rather safe no matter what they've done to it.

What's your point? I've eaten ketchup, Fritos, and Cheetos throughtout my entire life and nothing bad has happened to me because of it. Relax.
