Do you know any modern day physicists who helped form the modern model for an atom? Tell me who you think best influenced the modern, anyone after Bohr and his model. Thanks! You guys rock!

Since you ask about atomic physics, people that contributed to particle physics (like Gell-Mann) should be out-of-scope: their contribution applies to a much later stage of the game.

For modern atomic physics:
- Heisenberg
- Dirac
- Schrödinger

made incredible creative contributions.

- Born and Jordan were also really important in expanding Heisenberg's first steps.
- Pauli was a great critic, as was Einstein.
- Bohr was the "guiding light" for the development of atomic physics, even after his own model was no longer regarded as cutting-edge: He had a good sense for which ideas to promote and develop, and which were dead-ends.

Frankly speaking, I don't know any"modern day physicist"who helped form the modern model for an atom but I surely know about "Lord -Krishna" who had the power to control the entire universe through his Sudarshan-Chakra.It was Lord Rama's" Brahmastra" which had the power to neutralise the so-called "atom-bomb" and destroy any sort of physically made evil-force.The entire hindu world knows about the "Third-Eye" of 'LORD-SHIVA, which is much more powerful than the atom-bomb and it can destroy all the evil-forces of the world just with the blink of the third eye.Neil Bohr only discovered the atom-bomb but remember, he did not INVENT the bomb.
