Yes that's right. I'm joining my friend Enki on the noble quest to bring FRUIT back to the forefront of scientific and philosophical discussion.
After all, it was an APPLE that discovered gravity. ;-) ;-) ;-)

Well, you philosophers are a clever and humorous bunch of grapes! I can’t be positive, but I think our serious friend Yaoi Shonen-ai even made a joke. :-)
And I guess we’ve all learned a valuable lesson about using the word “banana” in any metaphorical context (LOL!). In true Enki-tation, I could only narrow it down it to three answers:
Phoenix Quill, for reminding me that the Apple also discovered “sin”; that’s one seriously conflicted piece of fruit.
, for somehow managing to turn absurdity into a mathematical discussion, and for slipping some utter indecency past the nefarious “Oracle” in the process. ;-)
And Param, who, like a good scientist, conducted multiple experiments only to declare them all “inconclusive”.
As our friend would say, you’re all my best answer.
Thanks to everyone for the puns and LOLs! You all get a =))))))))))))))

*Puff* *Puff* *Puff*. Am I late for the submissions? No? Thank God! I made it before the deadline....
Here, Ma'am, are the results of my experiments (the reason for my being late)....
EX. 1. I put all the three above-mentioned items in a basket for two days. They refused to communicate with each other. Mr. Banana lost patience and started turning black and dying. Others were least bothered.
EX. 2. a) I put a rotten apple with these other healthy species. They still felt no empathy and remained unaffected by its plight. b) I then put that rotten apple alongwith its own kin and, wow, what solidarity they showed! They showed loyalty towards their mate by self-sacrifice.
EX. 3. I then peeled and chopped and diced them all and put them in custard. Lo and Behold! They really bonded like thick friends! Were they happy to discover each other!!! They lend their colour(?) and flavour to the dish and truly made it a joy for everyone who partook of it.
INFERENCE: I....err, I....hmmm. I think, they need an external medium to comprehend and understand each other (Ex. 3). Otherwise they are an island unto themselves....
They do show signs of racism. (Ex 1 and 2).
I think I should leave it to your learned self to draw the inference...
Thank you very much.

The Apple too was involved with Eve discovering sin.
Of course the Apple may have just been the fall guy 'cause those religious types didn't feel like explaining how Eve was sinning with a Banana.
I think the shared sphereocity between Apple and Orange is overrated. The Apple we have noted is quite adventurous and inquisitive & no doubt finds the Banana's fantastically broad leaves quite alluring.
Then there is the Oranges collosal coyness. The fruit is available only in sections, and only after a fairly tedious process of undressing.
The Apples clothing is edible and a Banana disrobes faster than a gay man at a bath-house.
My vote is an Apple Banana affinity.

I don't believe an apple comprehends anything, but that is just my opinion.
But your question has a deeper meaning. Taking the various kinds of fruit as allegorical to various kinds of people, it is easier for similar people to comprehend one another than people who are quite different. For example, a Korean can comprehend a Chinese better than a European. Extending your allegory, the Korean is an apple and a Chinese is an orange; both are round. The European, however, is a distinctly different tall banana.

LOL ... An APPLE that discovered gravity, huh? ;-) :-) :-)
Here, do you see a single BANANA around? (BTW, I'm a HUGE fan of Pink Floyd's, but this one is a shameless attempt by anyone's standard!!! ... Guess, we NOW know where all the BANANAs went!) ... LOL

P.S. Just cause they both "appear" to be ROUND and PLUMP doesn't mean they're always compatible. Topologically blow up a Banana and it TOO will turn into a sphere! ... Call that: "One For My Buddy Enki". :-)

Apple did not discover gravity, it made it happen same with orange and banana! Orange and banana resolves the issue of gravity. They all made their contribution... Some Apple needs Windows, some Orange needs Vitamins , some Banana needs Donkey Kong!

I think it can relate to both equally. Both the orange and the apple are round and they can rejoice in their roundness. The orange and the banana, though shaped differently, share a tough outer skin that must be torn away to enjoy the tenderness of the fruit.

Hi,
It depends on where the apple, orange and banana find themselves. If for instance they're in the dark, the apple could mistake the orange as being another apple whereas it will have no such problem with the banana!

I would say that an apple can more easily comprehend a banana than to understand an orange since it is more easy to go bananas than to understand such things like this. ahaa ahaaa!

Having the same purpose in Nature. I believe they all bear fruits and therefore comrehension is not at all a problem.
Thanks for asking. Have a great day!
