I'm not a really huggy type person. I don't know where all this stuff started. It's taken me by surprise. Being an introvert, it's not really my style to hug, kiss or otherwise touch a friend. I love them dearly , but I am not offended at all if someone in my contact list doesnt' give me a hug, and I would hope they are not offended when I don't happen to give one. I love to chat - but quite frankly don't usually remember to do the hug thing. Not everyone is so inclined to hug all the time - and it doesnt' mean friends aren't loved any less.
AND I am usually surprised when I get a hug from someone who isn't in my list at all....
On a side note: in real life - I am not the huggy type either. When my fathers passed away this past summer/fall... I am finding that our entire family has been more inclined to hug and kiss more readily...
You, dear one, are not on my list for some reason - what's up with that?? LOL

I'm so sorry, I've been trying to stay off Y/A to take a break but it's SO hard, especially after reading your post!!!

You are not one of my contacts but to be honest, your posts always do make me want to hug you. I should have shown that sooner. ((((((queenofyackagain)))))

Isn't all of this huggy thing, just girly stuff anyway?

but since i haven't taken a bath in 2 weeks, I fully realize why I don't get a lot of hugs.

Yes, I really do. And worse still is when I send people hugs, and don't get them back, which happens quite frequently. And it's also humiliating, especially in public, where everybody can see who gets them back, and who don't.

Nope.

I'm used to not being hugged.

Hugs scare me, anyhow.

I often scream when someone hugs me, actually.

And no, I'm not kidding.

Just a few days ago, one of my best friends hugged me, and I was almost kicked out, because I screamed so loud.

It doesn't bother me matter of fact it keeps Patrick germ free. Plus, hugs tend to give me a rash. (((QoY)))

I'm bad at this. It feels weird to me when i give it first (I'm weird). So, I usually don't do them until somebody else does them first.
