My Question is...what's the meaning of asking that same Question "What's the meaning of life?" over and over and over again?

Your question is answered within itself. The people who ask do not know there is no meaning. For the longest time I had a stock answer about it, but now I just type Mu in teh hope that one of them has read a book on Zen.

Your question posits your conviction (I hope merely an assumption) that life has no meaning.

Life encompasses all aspects of existence, much as the whole includes the sum total of all its parts. Life includes everything, let alone the search for answers: MEANING.

If you ask why people always ASK what the meaning of life is when, to you, THERE IS REALLY NONE, then you CONTRADICT YOURSELF in your conviction (or again assumption) that life has no meaning BECAUSE YOU YOURSELF ASK a question and ASKING A QUESTION is ACCEPTING that LIFE HAS MEANING.

Do I engage in sophistry? I think not, for I'm merely after consistency in logical argument that if you affirm your premise you should adhere to it throughout and a contradiction is a red herring that sticks out like a sore thumb.

And I'm fully aware that someone as beautiful as you won't love me for answering the way I just did.

I can do with a hamburger right now.

The lack of meaning is brought about by confusion and a lack of self-love. There is a lot of pain in this question and I am afraid our religious leaders and scientists are of little help. However there is a solution but it is pretty confronting. This is about love, goodness and ultimately Absolute Love. Not bad for someone who does not have a religion hey? You are part of an infinite web of context that is spread over vast tracts of existence. I know the world seem pretty crappy sometimes but it is always greater than any single person can encapsulate in ideas. I have worked with lots of people who have suffered unfairly, however they all need one thing, HOPE. We did not create infinity it is literally thrust upon us conceptually and mathematically. If we take our urge for pleasure happiness and joy to its natural vector on the infinite axis of potentiality then eventually everything resolves into goodness and Absolute Love. You would be surprised how many people understand this without the need for some great authority or dogmatist. Look in your heart the solution is there.

There is certainly a purpose for the life.

A major purpose is to find the true purpose of life and realize that purpose.

The life is to fulfil that purpose for which it is.
So instead of asking all the people what the purpose of life is one should first find the real purpose of the life.
Then achieve that purpose.

Why should such a majestic and mystic thing as the life exist without any real purpose ? If someone does not know the purpose that does not mean that the life actually does not have any real purpose.

There is a meaning, its just different for everyone. If you were a Christian, you were put on this Earth to act out God's plan. If you don't believe in any religion; you merely exist. You are born. You live. And then you die. And that's that.

If there is someone asking it over and over again they could be
1.) Doing it for attention.
2.) Asking because they don't know the power of Google.
or my favorite,
3.) Just asking for the sake of making their lives a manic soap opera.

If you want meaning to your life, find the person you love and just love them. If you don't love anyone, love yourself. And ask yourself, why you get up in the morning and put on your pants and get through the day.

Your answer lies within yourself.

If you take a look at the people that post that question, you will notice that most of them have very little activity here or are recently registered. They are not savvy in the ways of YA and for some strange reason are under the impression that they are the first to ask that question.

Of course there is a meaning! The meaning of life is to do what you want and have fun! Okaaay... I guess you are right, there really isn't a meaning, but that's what's great about life! You get to create one!

Cus many of us these days are confused and tired of this boring life and if you asking me about the meaning of life however i would tell you this way "its about accepting and appreciating "....but that sucks.... cus we all feel like we don't deserve what we have. We wants more and better but if the meaning of life is accepting and appreciating then how can you live accepting disgustingly boring life????

This is the most basic question humans have asked (and written about) for multiple millenia. It is an important question. It does have an answer, but each person must discover that answer for herself.
