You could because some infinites are bigger then others. Such as an infinity of irrational numbers is bigger then the infinite of rational numbers.

Infinites are a very interesting topic. It was well studied by Cantor around 1900. The guy later went crazy though. Its very confusing.

Look at the amazon source. Its a very, very, good book about various topics including infinites. Its very easy to read fun. Trust me.

In physics, it's harder NOT to reach infinity. Most modern physics theories rely on renormalization so their calculations don't yield infinite results. The ideal 'theory of everything' will be what's called a finite theory. When you do calculations, the results won't be infinite. We do not yet have such a theory.
