also check your city's craigslist in the "for sale" under "free".
It's not exactly sent to you, but i've gotten a great new bookcase and a monitor from some cool folks giving things away.

http://www.sampleaday.com has ton of free samples. You dont have to go through a lot of gimmics to get it either which is nice. A new sample is updated daily. I like them, because I actually GET my samples!
If you want you can sign up to get their daily samples e-mailed to your inbox, but they dont require it.
