I was given an old series 1957 US Dollar that says on it "In Silver Payable to the Bearer on Demand". Its not in MINT condition but its in really really good condition...and i was wondering if a bank or someone offered some kind of exchange value or if it was worth anything.

A bank will only give you $1.00.
A collector might offer more, but they're
REAL fussy about condition. What looks
"really good" to you will probably be "poor'
to a collector.
It might be worth a try at a numismatic site.
It is a historical note. In the 'sixties`, the
silver value of coins went above the dollar value.
A lot of silver coin was melted down for metal,
and "Silver Certificates" such as the one you
possess went out of circulation.
