I purchased an intake manifold for a 454 Chevy, an Edelbrock from summit racing and i dismantled the top end. The stock cam was flat and it was under warranty but i wanted a hotter cam . I get everything back together and i took the manifold and it didn't fit. No matter what i did it was just plain off . Of course it's Saturday, I find one 30 miles away and purchased it, put it on it fit and i had it running and broke in the cam.ran perfect, i call summit Monday tell them whats wrong send it OK a week later its on my front porch, summit nothing wrong with it sent it back. after sending it back and forth 6 times I call the Edelbrock factory and sent it to them , they were amazed that it did not fit on an engine. summit used a tool that manifold just sat in it . Edelbrock tried to put it on an engine and they were baffled that the bolt holes were 1 1/4 inches off. they told summit to refund and edelbrock sent me a chrome valve cover set and a aircleaner for my inconveiniece. I would still be fighting summit 5 years later.

Well, I don't know if this qualifies but, since I was the customer and was expecting to have good service, I will tell you about it. I was in a family restaurant and had ordered eggs and toast. The waitress was chewing gum from the moment I got into the restaurant. She chewed it while she asked for my order, when she delivered the drinks and when she served the food. She was attentive but continued chewing gum and blowing bubbles. She walked over to check on my table to see if everything was OK. She actually had her gum fall from her mouth on to my plate and on to the remaining eggs; promptly retrieved the gum (which she placed back in her mouth) and then asked, "Is everything OK?" I couldn't believe it!! I actually said, "Yeah, everything is just fine!!" I went away from there shocked at her manners and lack of response or apology for doing what was done. I actually left a tip because I felt that, if she continued chewing gum and had a few more incidents, that she would need the money. I laugh at it as I think of that particular day. Good thing I have a sense of humor.

A bank, I had $500 bucks saved up but I hadn't visited my savings acc. in years, so it turned out the bank had been secretly charging me incorrectly about 5% a month, and by the time I got back to it I had about 10 bucks left. It took them about 2 hours to settle it because of the new intern not knowing how to check someone's account in less than 10 minutes. It was a pretty stupid 3 hours for me considering I only got back like 150 dollars of my original 500.

The Pink Panda. The waitress had her cell phone to her ear the whole time we were there. We had to constantly ask for her to tend to our table, fill up our drinks, etc. I seldom eat out and not leave a tip; but this is one time I didn't. Service there absolutely sucks. I won't go back and do not recommend the place to anyone.

Well, I walked into Goodwill to ask for an application. The second I walked in the door the woman was like "We close in 15 minutes." all snooty like, and a woman that looks like she did has no business being snooty, and I usually don't think like that about people. Anyway, I said "Okay...then I'm allowed to be here for 15 minutes." but I stayed for about 2 and didn't even ask for the application. Wasn't gonna try to work with someone like her.

It was the best and the worse...License Bureaus in Ohio.
I loved working with the people but they were some really nasty characters. It was a challenge to me to turn the tone around and get them HAPPY SMILING....I loved my worse public service job.
