I have 98' model Toyota Corolla since one year. It runs perfectly fine and never had any problems so far. But it takes an engine oil like a hell! I checked with my local repair shop and found out no leakage on the engine but burns an oil quickly. I have been feeding an engine oil every twice a week to make it wotrh it. The engine also makes a weird noise when i press an accelerator (0 to 20mph) and then stops gradually when it takes the speed. If i feed an oil the noise is lower and cannot be heard for couple of days and after few days the noise is same ....! Do you have any idea to abolish my engine noise and save some money on oil?

used motor for that car would be around $500-600. that would be the most wise route

Have a good mechanic check it out. It could just be a bad gasket that is allowing oil to be sucked into the engine, possibly an intake manifold gasket. The dealer would probably be your best bet.

To abolish the problem sounds like you have valve seal problems or ring problems, I would suggest getting a used engine or a rebuilt one, both of which are easily over two thousand dollars.

sounds like the engine is about wore out! More than liklely valve guides in the head are gone and probably just the start of the problems

you got engine problems with it,and there not going to go away either ,you need to have a good mechanic look at it,and a tell you what can be done for it,there's a reason its using oil like that and a mechanic can find it,good luck.

the head gasket is blown or your piston rings are worn that is probably why you are burning oil and the squeaking noise is probably because of the serpintine belt
