I looked at the site and those styles are not really representative of the areas they mention. They all look basically the same. My definitions are based on the shops you will see in those areas after all the shops are there because people that like the clothes will go there to buy them so they will also be wearing that type of clothing. Check out SuperFuture maps of Tokyo!
Harajuku, shibuya, omotesando, and Daikanyama are pretty close to each other (walking distance). Ginza is farther away. Omotesando and Ginza are similar styles- Gucci, Versaci, Bulgari etc. but Ginza is better known by older women and Omotesando is now being considered as the new Ginza, very European looking. Harajuku has lots of girls and guys in "cosplay" or costume play, especially on Sundays. They dress in outfits like lolita, or gothic lolita etc. Shibuya or Shibuya-kei (Shibuya style) is the teen and young 20's fasion mecca. These young people start trends that spread throughout Japan and the rest of the world. Shibuya has been shown in many movies. I am not sure why Daikanyama is there but it has a lot of individual boutiques and shops and a very metropolitan style, think metro-sexual and modern design. I believe Aoyama is similar. Like was stated before they are all based on station names or areas of Tokyo. If you have only one day in Tokyo and want to see most of these styles, start at Harajuku station and look to your right on a Sunday afternoon then stroll down the road to Omotoesando and near route 246 take a right and walk to Shibuya at night.

Tokyo is a very large city, the names there are names of different districts in Tokyo. So I guess the styles there are named after the different distrcts, for example Ginza is more sophisticated and Shibuya is more trendy younger folks, other districts represent other items as well.
