1. Chester A. Arthur the twenty-first President of the United States.
His father, a Baptist minister, was born in Ireland .
October 29, 1859, married Ellen Lewis
Herndon, of Fredericksburg, Va.
He was the eldest son of Rev. William Arthur and Malvina Stone.
At the age of 18, attended a law school at Ballston Spa, N.Y.
January 1, 1861, was appointed on
Governor Edwin D. Morgan's staff as engineer in chief, with the rank of brigadier-general.

2. John Tyler the tenth President of the United States, born at Greenway, Charles City County, Virginia, 29 March, 1790.
His father was Judge John Tyler.
John Tyler attended the College of William and Mary studying law.
Tyler first married Letitia Christian on March 29, 1813. They had eight children. Two years after the death of his first wife, Tyler married Julia Gardiner on June 26, 1844, thus becoming the first president to marry while in office. They had seven children.
(Total 15 children of these 14 children lived to maturity.)
He suffered a stroke and died in a Richmond hotel on January 18, 1862. He was 71.
