I use a shared computer and I think that some other persons have come to know my password and they may use it. I want to change my password but there appears to be no provision of doing so because the box beside the place, where we fill up the password says: Forgot password. It does not seem to have any option for changing the password. Is it possible to change the password? If so, plz explain the detailed procedure.

You have to log in and go to Control Panel / User Accounts where you can change your password and fool around with others if you have administrative rights.

You have to change a password while logged in as either that user or a user with Administrator privileges. Do this:

1. While logged in, click on the Start->Control Panel menu item.
2. Click on User Accounts.
3. Click on your regular account.
4. Click on Change My Password.
5. Change it.

That should do it. Good luck.
