One of the most difficult things in life is to learn to let go of the past, the hurts, the pains, the sadness.
But there comes a time when it is necessary to let go of those things. they are doing nothing but dragging us down for no good reason.
We need to search deep inside ourselves for the lessons learned from all these experiences.
Then we need to let them go, and go on with our lives.
These negative emotions do nothing to enhance our lives. Say goodbye to them, and begin to really live.

Your normal self will dwell on the past because you want to some how figure a way to change it . You can't seem to look ahead because it is too uncertain. The "healthy " way is to say I can not change past and only the future can give me what I need. Way easier said than done. But since you were thinking about it you already have a clue of what it takes. This is easier to if you have friends. They can be a way of helping you look at the present with just the amount of distraction. I wish you luck , but if you are a determined person you'll do fine. Remember your friends.

Hi lamen great question of all of us,
Everybody is worried about the past, thus making his present strainful.
this is only due to our over attachment to our things, our relations.
the only remeady is to just remeber the past make good out of it by improving the mistakes you have done in the past and and apply the rectification in the present to make it more enjoyful.
Remember past is gone, act in the present in best possible way.
