I am 23. I graduated from college in May and have a really good job working as an investment manager. In June i met an older lady, she told me she was 52. I never was an "older lady" man but she was really nice and very attractive so i pursued a relationship. When we had sex she told me she was too old to get pregnant and she was on the pill anyway so there was no need to wear a condom. Yesterday she informed me of a bunch of things: first, she's preg. 2nd, she's not 52, she's 42. 3rd she got pregnant on purpose by me because she thinks i'm really attractive and i have a good future career ahead of me financially. Also, she was actually taking fertility drugs to facilitate getting preg.
Is there anything i can do legally. She totally lied to me in so many ways, now needless to say we're broken up but she says that i still have to financially support her. Is this true even though she lied about everything to me!!

Actually, you may be OFF the HOOK here. SOME states have a law now that states 'if a woman deceives a man to become pregnant for the sole purpose of financial gain then then that man will not be financially responsible' . There is more too it then that and I don't know which states other then Louisiana have this law. But I would hire a attorney immediately. Also find out if you can have her charged with extortion.

You need to talk to an attorney, but my guess is that you're stuck. Women lie everyday to get pregnant on purpose, lie about being on BC, lie about their ages, etc. Note here....Most women do NOT do these kinds of things, but there are some that do. The way the court will look at this is that you made the decision to have sex not really knowing much about the woman and so you're equally as responsible for the outcome. It would be just like a girl getting pregnant on her first time and the guy telling her that she can't get pregnant her first time. Anytime you have sex (even with condoms, BC, etc.) there is ALWAYS a chance of pregnancy unless the woman has passed menopause or has had a hysterectomy. I think you're stuck on this one....sorry. Take responsibility and take care of the child. It's not his or her fault.

Well I would talk to a lawyer and get immediate council regarding the sperm abusing ex gf...she did trick you in a way but you willingly consented to not using a condom as well. Also you can deny the child is yours but she can come after you for a dna test and once proven the child is yours she can come after you for child support. I am not sure how the law is there but you may be able to give up all rights to the child to be since you did not want this outcome and maybe you can keep from supporting it then...not to sure...she is still older for pregnancy and if she had to use fertility drugs she may lose the baby as well/miscarriage...normally in the first 3 months miscarriage risks are highest...definitely get a lawyer now and try to record her making her statements how she lied ect so you can use it against her in court if you have to go.

Well she has committed a bit of fraud on you, but in the US that won't mean a lot.
You don't have to support her, but you will have to support the child, if paternity tests show that it is yours.
Sorry, but you can't really trust someone you've known for a few months. Casual sex without a condom is high risk. Even if she was 52 and no longer able to have children, you still could have contracted a disease.
I'm sorry you are going to learn this the hard way.

Firstly...I am so sorry this happened to you. Now with that out of the way, this is going to be very difficult to hear. It's your word against hers...this is a he said she said situtation. You should only be responsible for the child if it is indeed yours. You can have a paternaty test done after the baby is born. If it indeed is yours you can file for full custody if you feel it is right for you. Be prepaired for a fight and get a good lawyer.

You don't have to financially support HER, you have to financially support your child. Do not sign anything without YOUR OWN attorney having reviewed it. Do not make verbal agreements to support the child.
Request a DNA test once the child is born. And for pity's sake, wear a condom next time.
Her lies aren't actionable, sorry. If lying during dating was outlawed, we'd all be felons.

Talk to a lawyer.. I don't think even a good lawyer can get you out of this rats nest, but make sure you get a DNA test of said child. And hope that maybe you have learned something.

Support her? No - your only financial obligation is to the child that will be.
I would find myself a lawyer. It sounds to me like fraud, pure and simple. She was dishonest to obtain something from you, and now she wants you to pay for something that you didn't think you were going to get. Talk to a lawyer. I am sure there is something that can be done to aid you in this venture. But remember - the child is the innocent one here, and they shouldn't be made to suffer for something their "mother" did.

That's so messed up. Call a lawyer. Because I doubt anyone on Yahoo will have actual legal advice. But that's so messed up. I'm really sorry for you.

Nobody forced you to have unprotected sex...you made that decision all by yourself.
Hello, daddy.....get ready to open your wallet.
That's what happens when you don't keep your zipper up and think you can just hop on any old wag you feel like getting into.
