The best 5 countries in the world to live in (on balance) are:

1.Norway
2.Switzerland
3.Denmark
4.Sweden
5.Ireland

This has been confirmed by a wide range of surveys measuring economic strength, quality of life, freedom, education, government performance, and environmental sustainabiliy. If you take all those factors into account the above countries win.

Switzerland and Norway also have breathtaking nature.

Its got to be Scotland. Okay so the diet and health of the people is so bad, but the country itself is outstanding. The variety of the landscape is far more than a country of its size should have...wild mountain ranges, gentle lochs, sandy beaches, and the weather is not too bad either. I mean it doesnt rain EVERY day!

Australia is good... Austria is also good--high quality of life.
But really depends on what everyone likes. There isn't a best country on Earth, but a best country for YOU to live in.

it depends on what you like. i think the best bet would be united states. i think no matter what kind of person you are, the u.s will have it. from amazing cities and shows, to the wide open country. Suburbs, vintage shops, and a bunch of cool stuff that any person could like.
